With publications like Filmfare, Stardust, GQ, FHM, Elle, Vogue, Grazia, and other entertainment and lifestyle magazines still dominating the hindi market, the trend of magazines is still quite popular there. However, telugu speakers have very few, if any, magazines specifically geared toward them, with the exception of a few that come from Hyderabad. When it comes to magazine covers, we typically see attractive women or perhaps bollywood stars, but we rarely see South Asian guys.

It appears that some of the well-known magazines are now viewing telugu artists differently as a result of the back-to-back success of telugu films at the hindi box office. megastar chiranjeevi was featured on the cover of "The Week" in the 1990s, and now allu arjun has been featured on the cover of "India Today." Because the megastar was then charging more for a movie than amitabh Bachhan, chiru was placed on the cover at that time. And now allu arjun loved it because they wanted to show everyone of india how a film with such rich material as pushpa could succeed even without extensive advertising in hindi circles.

On the other side, nani was recently featured as the cover boy of Provoke magazine, which examined the swag he is dispersing with his unruly beard. In a same vein, mahesh babu posed in his signature manner for the cover of Peacock magazine. Additionally, it appears that telugu stars' standing has been permanently altered, and more national magazines may choose to include them on their covers.
