Sources have stated that the Czech based car maker, Skoda, has unveiled the all new Kodiaq Scout which will be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. The Kodiaq Scout, which is essentially an off road version of the regular Kodiaq, will go on sale during the mid 2017.



It was stated that there are numerous features that set aside the Kodiaq Scout from the regular Kodiaq. These include silver skd protection plates at the front and rear, extra cladding on the side profiles, especially on the wheel arches and an underbody protection for the tough off road conditions. It also brings parking assistant for both rear and front, along with a high ground clearance of 194 mm.

Skoda Kodiaq Scout is likely to be available in four different engine trims, two petrol while the other two will be oil burners. Expect India to get the 2.0-litre TDI diesel motor variant which, as the company claims, will be able to pump out a maximum power of 190 bhp. With this power, the off road car will be able to hit an acceleration of 0-100 km per hour in under 9 seconds, with a top speed of 210 km per hour. The transmission duties will be done by an automatic transmission gearbox.

The Skoda Kodiaq is a premium 7-seater SUV with premium features inside out. The India-bound Kodiaq will be launched during the later part of 2017 as the company intends to encash on the hyped market during the festive season.
