An explosion reported at raipur railway station early saturday morning injured six Central Reserve police Force (CRPF) soldiers. The jawans of the CRPF's 211 battalions were travelling by special train to Jammu when the grenade in the false cartridge box exploded as soon as it was placed in the train bogie.


 A badly injured jawan was taken to the hospital, while the remaining five jawans were transferred to Jammu after receiving first assistance. The soldiers have boarded the train to Jammu. The CRPF and administration authorities arrived on the scene shortly after the event. According to reports, top CRPF officers have arrived at the hospital.


At the same time, raipur police says that four CRPF personnel were injured in this blast. CRPF and GRP officials are present at the railway station and are trying to find out how the blast happened. The doctor of Narayana Hospital says that the jawan has suffered injuries on his head and leg. The doctor has declared the jawan out of danger. Great care is taken when shifting ammo arms. Officials are probing why the igniter set was being shifted from bogie number 9 to 8.
