Oh Manapenne is a movie directed by Kaarthikk Sundar and scripted by Tharun Bhascker. deepak Sundarrajan wrote the script and wrote the dialogues for this official adaptation of the telugu film Pelli Choopulu. The major actors are Harish Kalyan and priya Bhavani Shankar, with Anbu Thasan and Abishek Kumar providing important minor roles. The movie is available to watch on Disney Plus Hotstar.

Karthik, an unemployed engineering graduate who really doesn't take life seriously, is played by Harish Kalyan. He is an excellent cook, but he does not take his profession seriously. He and his family head to Shruthi's (Priya Bhavani Shankar) residence to seek her matrimony, but they arrive at the wrong address. Karthik's true ally wants him to be successful in business. So he teams up with Shruthi to launch a food truck company.

The film explores the intricacies of their connection, as well as how the truck plays a vital role in defining their lives. When the film falters, it is this comedy that brings it back to life. There are numerous cherry-like moments in the film, many of which are unforgettable. However, there are a few sequences here and there where such situations are achieved, but they are rushed, leaving the spectator with insufficient time to appreciate them.

Aside from this little issue, the picture almost seems to function by magic. Aside from the humorous scenes, the majority of the intense moments work, with the exception of the first few, which are mediocre. priya Bhavani Shankar's character, for example, isn't fully defined at the outset. As a result, the scene in which she falls in love in college falls flat.

Oh Manapenne works well as a stand-alone movie. A societal message is conveyed, although it is merely a subtext. The film's sole purpose is to entertain, which the crew has accomplished. The movie is well worth your time if you have strong technical assistance. It's the kind of movie that makes you happy and contented.
