Maaran is filmmaker Karthick Naren's debut partnership with actor Dhanush. The movie was shot in madras and Telangana, and was financed by Sathya jyothi Films. Maaran appears to be a suspenseful mystery with just the right amount of violence and emotions. Maaran will also include , Smruthi Venkat, Samuthirakani, Master Mahendran and Krishnakumar, in addition to dhanush and malavika Mohanan. The artistic director is GV Prakash, while the creative crew includes songwriters vivek and Karthick Naren.


The film is nearing its conclusion. Maaran is expected to skip the theatres and instead premiere via an OTT channel, according to rumours. According to sources, Disney+Hotstar appears to be the favourite in acquiring Maaran's broadcasting rights. However, no official statement about the movie's release date has yet been made by the creators.



However, this news has shocked the fans of malavika mohanan and dhanush as the fans were disappointed earlier that 'Jagame Thandhiram' also got an OTT release and never made it to the big screens and now this news has literally made them shocked and they are venting their rage and they are requesting a clarification from the production house Satya Jyoti Films banner.
