The first ISO-certified government school kitchen in tamil Nadu!!!

For the first time in tamil Nadu, an ISO certification has been issued to a government school kitchen. Corporation Girls' High school is functioning in Karungalpalayam, Erode District. More than a thousand students are studying here. Mala, who took over as the school's headteacher in 2017, has been effortlessly working to get the kitchen to be ISO certified. She was so was shocked to see the unhygienic, overuse of plastic products in the kitchen which used to prepare a meal for 300 students. She decided to start tiling and painting the entire kitchen. She also educated the parents on how to completely eliminate plastic items from the kitchen and obtained the ever silver vessels and earthenware needed for the kitchen. She also fitted R.O water to cook hygienically and ordered the caretakers to cook only in that R.O water. The editor-in-chief also appointed a faculty member to wash the vegetables before cooking and order the cooks to cut their nails, not to wear bracelets and rings, and to wear hats on their heads to prevent hair from falling into the diet. She also ordered the school to set up an organic vegetable garden and use the vegetables once a week, after which the dishes used by the students were washed in hot water and dried under the sun, and only hot water was given to the children while eating. She also fitted two CCTV cameras in the kitchen to monitor whether all of this was being done properly and without fail.

 Based on this, the ISO certification officers, who have inspected the school kitchen 4 times, issued the ISO certification last month on the hygiene system, the non-use of plastics, the elegance of the staff, the taste of the food, and the reason for considering the health of the students. Headmistress Mala said it was a matter of pride that for the first time in tamil Nadu, the kitchen of a government school was ISO certified and thanked everyone who worked for it.
