Former joint andhra pradesh chief minister and senior congress leader Roshaiya has passed away. Family members rushed him to a hospital in Hutahutina in the early hours of the morning. 


However, he was already found to have breathed his last. He is 88 years old. He was confined to his home for a long time due to old age. 


Coming out only on very rare occasions. After the death of YS Rajasekhar reddy in a helicopter crash, Roshaiya was selected as the Chief of the High Command. 

He resigned after that, saying he could not continue in office due to the developments in the party. Later kiran kumar reddy became the CM. 


After stepping down as CEO, Roshaiya was appointed governor of tamil Nadu. He served as the governor of tamil Nadu from 31st august 2011 to 30th august 2016. 

Staying away from direct politics after the tenure is over. Konijeti Roshaiya was born in the village of vemuru in the guntur district on July 4, 1933.


Educated at guntur Hindu College. Elected to the Legislature in 1968, 1974 and 1980 on behalf of the congress Party. For the first time, he served as the minister of Roads and Transport in the Chennareddy government. He has made a name for himself as a leader in politics.
