Tale of Dulla Bhatti: There was a farmer named Sundardas, he had two daughters Sundari and Mundri. At that time there was the terror of the Mughal chieftains and there was a big danger for the Numberdar girls of the village. He used to scare Sundardas to get his daughters married to him. Sundardas complained about this to Dulla Bhatti. Dulla reached the village of Numberdar and burnt his fields. After this, Sundardas's daughter got married where he wanted. sugar was given in the omen of marriage. From this day onwards, worship is done by lighting a fire on the night of Bhogi.
