The Central Reserve police Forces (CRPF) and the authorities entered prabhakar Reddy's home in Tadipatri and cordoned off the area. They barred everyone from leaving the house and took the JC brothers' cars and cell phones. According to reports, the ED authorities learned about the JC brothers' criminal actions, including their use of money laundering to purchase vehicles. A police complaint against the family for purchasing vehicles registered in 2020 is already pending in Anantapur.
Prabhakar reddy was accused of acquiring bogus insurance documents and a fake No-Objection Certificate for 154 private buses owned by their family business, JC Travels. These automobiles were seized by the Road Transport Authority (RTA) authorities. The JC brothers were accused of fraudulently registering buses in the BS-III category that had been operating for the previous three years by misrepresenting them as BS-IV. 50 of these 154 buses were registered under the names Jatadhara industries and C Gopal reddy, respectively. In Karnataka, 33 buses, 15 in Telangana, and 101 in andhra pradesh were registered.
