Kuku (Varun Dhawan) recognises Naina (Kiara Advani) as his match the moment he sets eyes on her. Theirs is a classic love story from infancy to adulthood, but after five years of marriage, things start to fall apart. The hardest part of breaking the news to their families is for the two to decide to separate ways. Particularly to Kuku's raucous family, who are getting ready for the nuptials of their younger daughter Ginni (Prajakta Koli). Wait until director raj Mehta and his writers rapidly throw one romantic conflict after another at you. It may seem like a straightforward plot.


Every archetypal issue that arises in india is given a comic spin by the creators. From intrusive aunts torturing newlyweds for "good news" to a young girl marrying a man she doesn't love merely to be "settled," there are many examples of this. The movie gently and consistently uses humour to shed light on a number of concerns. The issues faced by raj Mehta's imperfect and realistic characters can be identified with. The entire story revolves around relationship problems that are difficult to fix yet are handled deftly enough to keep the viewer engaged throughout.


Anil Kapoor is the life of the party in this situation. As the boisterous and colourful family patriarch Bheem, the actor is in fine form. He makes you cheer for him despite all of his idiosyncrasies, thus the character was created for him. varun dhawan displays admirable restraint in a full-on family drama that relies on humorous relief to get through every trying circumstance. In every shot, kiara advani exudes beauty and gives a strong performance.


Neetu Kapoor is incredibly likeable and engaging, and she excels in the part. She is at her best in the second half when her character is given the opportunity to take the lead. YouTuber Prajakta Koli makes a strong introduction, but his facial expressions could use a lot of work. Maniesh Paul is the ideal choice to play the extravagant and showy Gurpreet.


Jugjugg Jeeyo has a background score to encourage you to chuckle in case some of the jokes don't quite land, even if most of them do. Songs like "nach punjaban," which have already become popular, are among the film's infectious tunes. This family drama has a good beginning and a great conclusion. It could have used a tighter edit because the runtime is a little bothersome. The engaging acting and odd banter are what keep you watching. 


Jugjugg Jeeyo has flaws just like its characters, but in the end, it's all about the family, and this is the kind of clean family entertainment we need to see in theatres.
