Following the phenomenal box office success of Bimbisaara, Sitaramam, and karthikeya 2, certain superstars, including Chiranjeevi, have been advising all the filmmakers and producers to place more emphasis on the movie's content than just its marketing. No matter how inventive and aggressive one's advertising is, the end result will undoubtedly be an atom bomb if the substance is poor.

Two films, Ranga Ranga Vaibhavamga by vaishnav tej and First Day First Show by Anudeep, were launched in theatres this past friday (Sept. 2). While Anudeep's film, which was written and directed by Gireeshayya, is a blatantly ridiculous comedy, Vaishnav's film, which was written and directed by Gireeshayya, is a typical drama. These two movies demonstrated once more that formulaic and ridiculous narratives do not appeal to audiences or perform well at the box office.

One may ask how vaishnav tej chose to watch such a forgettable film considering that he is a young hero who consumes content that is distributed internationally by elite OTT platforms. Anudeep, on the other hand, needs to realise that although ridiculous comedies can work, audiences won't always enjoy them, especially if there isn't a clear plot or storyline.
