K. Kavitha, a daughter of telangana chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao, retaliated against her father by accusing him of using his post as a political platform to disparage the state's leadership and the chief minister. Hours after tamilisai accused the state administration for "humiliating" her, kavitha tweeted, "The office of governor of telangana has evolved into a political stage that is determined to slander the trs govt and cm KCR garu."

Kavitha, a member of the telangana Legislative Council, wrote: "The words of Hon'ble governor come at a time when they realised that the bjp driven smear campaigns can't con the people of Telangana." On Thursday, the governor spoke at a press conference at raj bhavan to mark his completion of three years in office and launched an attack on the chief minister and the state government. She said that by ignoring protocol, the state government is discriminating against a female governor.

She claimed that she was even denied the chance to deliver her speech or raise the national flag on Republic Day. She said that obstacles were being put in her way as she tried to connect with people. She also chastised K. chandrasekhar Rao, the chief minister, for declining her invites to visit raj Bhavan. How a female governor was treated "will go down in the history of telangana," she remarked. State ministers have also retaliated against the governor for her remarks, claiming that her actions were unbecoming of someone in that position. E. Dayakar Rao, the minister for panchayat raj, asked tamilisai to conduct herself with respect and decorum in her role as the state's governor. He claimed she was behaving like a bjp member.
