23 died, several missing after boat capsizes...


A major accident happened on sunday in Panchgarh district of Bangladesh. Here 23 people died when an overloaded boat capsized in the Karatoya River, while dozens are missing. 


District Officer of North Panchgarh, Zahrul islam, said that the accident took place on sunday afternoon in the Karatoya river, 468 km from the capital Dhaka. He said bodies of 23 people, including women and children, have been retrieved so far. Rescue operation is on. islam said there were about 70 people on the boat.

30-35 passengers missing
