90% of employees were fired in India..!?

Chinese telecom giants ZTE and huawei have laid off 90 percent of their employees in india as foreign companies increasingly operate in India's telecom sector. While a succession of Chinese companies is facing a crisis in india, two companies, ZTE Corp and huawei Technologies are facing global opposition. The Chinese firms have laid off indian workers due to a poor business climate.ZTE Corp and huawei Technologies have struggled to win new business in the last few years due to the central government's severe crisis and strict procurement rules.
At the same time, ZTE and huawei could not get new business because all the telecom companies in the 5g service segment, which has taken shape in india, have signed agreements to buy telecom equipment from companies like nokia and Ericsson. As a result, these two Chinese companies have laid off 90 percent of the employees assigned to their indian business. It is noteworthy that when the central government banned Chinese mobile apps, Chinese companies laid off a large number of indian employees.According to current market data, ZTE is operating with just 150 employees, and huawei with 200 employees. Notably, ZTE employed 1,000 employees and huawei employed 1,500 at the end of 2020. Amid India-China border issues, last year the central government ordered all telecom equipment to undergo a strict screening process. The central government had announced that telecom equipment should only be purchased and used from companies marked as 'Trusted Sources' or 'Trusted Products' due to cyber security concerns by Chinese telecom equipment companies. ZTE and huawei are still listed as 'Trusted Sources' and 'Trusted Products' While not getting the tag, these two companies are currently facing a tax evasion case in the Income Tax department. Both companies in india are currently servicing customers acquired before 2020.
