Agreeing with the counsel's argument, the acb special court dismissed the bail petition. Ramachandra Bharathi, nandakumar and Simhayaji, who are accused in the mla baiting case, are currently remanded prisoners in chanchalguda Jail.
Meanwhile, the high court adjourned the hearing in the case of baiting MLAs to Tuesday. It is known that bjp general secretary Premender reddy approached the Haico CJ bench on saturday challenging the single bench's verdict lifting the stay imposed on the investigation of the case. He asked the court to direct the stay to continue as it is and conduct an inquiry with the cbi or a special investigation agency. On Monday, Premender's lawyer asked the court to hear the matter urgently. However, the high court has clarified that the inquiry will be conducted on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the hearing on the petition filed by the accused in the supreme court on the grant of bail to the trs MLAs in the bait case was postponed to Monday. The lawyer appearing on behalf of the accused told the court that a decision on the bail petition will be taken in the local court on Monday. He appealed to adjourn the hearing to Friday. A bench comprising Justice BR Gavai and Justice vikram Nath adjourned the further hearing to Monday.
