The 9th of december has suddenly become a highly sought-after date for several telugu films. They are all racing to release even if none of them have decent theatres, and there is a reason behind this. We could previously tell that only the Dec. 9th release date was planned for Colors Swathi's Panchatantram, satya Dev's Gurthunda Seethakalam, Adith Arun's prema Desam, and Color Photo renown director Sandeep's Mukhachitram. In addition to these movies, numerous lesser-known films with heavy promotional emphasis are also aiming for the same date, including Leharayi, Aakrosham, and Cheppalani Vundi. Why, you ask?

Since there are no more slots for the release of minor movies for the next two months, december 9th is actually the only time slot open for any films that want to rush to theatres. avatar 2 is set to take over all of india on december 16th, and two major producers are also releasing it in Telugu. On december 23, Dhamaka by Raviteja and 18 Pages by Nikhil will be released. After that, Waltair Veerayya, Veerasimha reddy, and Veerasimha reddy would be in all the theatres by the Sankranthi festival, followed by the movie that scored the biggest hit among the preceding three.

In short, there won't be a single theatre open for these films until the end of january 2023, but they could have a week of fun today if they open on december 9. But if the filmmakers of these films believe they produced a high-caliber film, why would they be content with just a week or two of box office success?
