According to News18, an oxygen tanker from chennai arrived at the hospital nearly 2 hours late, but they were nearly out of buffer stock. The longer refilling process caused a temporary interruption in the oxygen supply.

Andhra Pradesh chief minister jagan reddy has ordered a high-level investigation into the deaths of 11 patients. Earlier this month, 16 people died as a result of an oxygen shortage at two separate hospitals. According to the tdp, jagan reddy has blood on his hands and the incident was the result of criminal negligence on the part of the state government."Another act of criminal negligence has cost many lives in Ruia hospital in tirupati," tdp spokesperson Pattabhi ram says.
