The Social networking site twitter has already lost its intermediary status in india and now the Social Networking site stands exposed as it still never accompanied to the new IT rules imposed in India. Legal action can be taken under IPC for the third party content which it carries right now and the state of Uttar Pradesh police have already registered an FIR against Twitter. 



This happened after a shocking video of an old man getting beaten by 4 guys went viral and those guys even forced him to chant "Jai Shri Ram" in Ghaziabad. The tussle continues between indian Central government and twitter and now due to this action, twitter can be charged for all the posts. The Uttar Pradesh police have registered the FIR on twitter as they never marked that video as a manipulated one and the UP police also clarified that the video was totally unrelated to a communal incident. 


The police have confessed as twitter never flagged that video and also never revealed it was a manipulated video, twitter is currently liable for a complete penal action. However, twitter had revealed that they appointed a new Chief Compliance Officer and they will meet the IT Ministry at the earliest.
