After black and white fungus reported in india now, panic arises with the new variant of other fungus. According to experts, a new Green fungus strain has been identified in india in the state of madhya pradesh in indore a 34-year-old who was suffering from covid 19 was found with the new strain of green fungus. The man was suspected to have the black fungus but on further examination, doctors found that it was green fungus also medically termed as Aspergillosis.

This green fungus affected his blood, lungs and sinus of the patient. Even though the patient had recovered from coronavirus he had an unusually high fever and nose bleeds he further lose weight drastically and became weak very soon which resulted in doctors concluding that he was affected with green fungus.

The 34-year-old was transferred to Mumbai's Hinduja hospital via air. There are different types of this green fungus which may result in different symptoms. The symptoms include Headache Cough fever fatigue and coughing blood and nose bleeds under severe condition. As per the officials, the disease is non-contagious and will not spread from person to person. However, research is being conducted to further study this new variant of fungus.
