Just a few minutes before the first ball was about to be bowled in the second ODI match between west indies and australia at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, COVID scare stopped the match, and finally, the match was abandoned completely even without one ball being bowled. All the players and support staff from both the teams are put in isolation now and a medical team is making regular checkups. 


Even the toss happened and the match was about to go, and just when the first ball was about to be bowled, the confirmation of positive case was announced to the match referee, and finally, the match was called off just a few minutes before. Both team players, Match Officials, Supporting Staff members, and everyone else on the ground was taken back to their respective hotel and are now kept in bio-bubble and all of them will be going COVID-19 tests immediately and everyone will remain in isolation until all of them get their test results and after the results have come, a decision regarding the second ODI will be taken by the ICC Officials. 


Mr.Johny Grave who is the CEO of the west indies Cricket Board told the press that they hope all the test results will be known in few hours and they hope for Negative results.
