On Saturday, July 24, 2021, two unnamed terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district, according to authorities.

After obtaining "precise indications" regarding the presence of terrorists in the Shokbaba woodland region, a combined team of security personnel started a cordon and search operation. According to a police officer, security forces started a cordon and search operation in Shokbaba woodland in the Sumblar region of Bandipora in north kashmir after receiving information about the presence of terrorists there.



An official claimed two terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire between security personnel and militants in the Indian-controlled kashmir area. He added the identities of the murdered ultras are being determined. The terrorists opened fire on the forces while they were conducting searches in the area, he added. He said that the military reacted, resulting in an encounter in which two terrorists were killed.

For the past few weeks, the security forces are relentlessly working in J&K Valley trying to maintain the peace. There had been many instances and encounters where the indian Security forces have successfully managed to compromise the threat. The area seems to be more sensitive and vigilant than before.
