Raj Kundra was detained on July 19 on charges of making pornographic videos and sharing them on social media platforms. But now another FIR at Malvani police station has been filed against this businessman for his alleged involvement as the 'key conspirator' in the production of pornographic films and their distribution through mobile applications. The matter has been taken up by the mumbai crime branch for further investigation.

Kundra filed a petition in the bombay high court on Tuesday, saying that his arrest was unlawful since he was not issued legal notifications as required by law. The court delayed the hearing in the plea, saying it couldn't decide on giving temporary relief or passing an order without hearing from the respondent authorities.

Kundra's name is not listed in the FIR, according to a plea filed by senior attorney Aabad Ponda and advocate Subhash Jadhav. The police had searched his office, according to the report, and he was ordered to remain at the crime branch office. According to the petition, he was detained without being issued with a notice, which is a breach of rules that protect people from being arrested if the crime is punishable by less than seven years in jail.
