To control the spread of COVID-19, Saudi Arabian government has imposed a three-year travel ban on 'Red List' countries and india is one of the countries which have been red-listed. The flights to uae have been canceled until august 2nd and still, there is no clarity if there would be a resumption even after the 2nd of August.

While citizens get their documents scanned at the Digital-immigration gate at the king Khalid international Airport, the officials will check if they are traveling to red-listed countries and in case if they are found to be traveling to any of those red-listed countries they will face 3 years of the travel ban and they will not be allowed to travel for next three years.

This decision was taken as saudi arabia is making all efforts to control the spread of the corona virus and the new variants. If authorities in saudi arabia will find if anyone travels to these red-listed countries without any prior permission, they will be considered to violate all the travel regulations and they will be subjected to legal accountability and they will be also fined heavy penalties when they return and apart from those, they will also face a travel ban for a period of 3 years.
