Punjab: At 11 p.m. on Friday, the Border Security Force (BSF) shot and killed two intruders who had crossed into indian territory from pakistan near Khalra village in the Bhikhiwind subdivision of Tarn Taran district.
According to official sources, BSF 103 Battalion soldiers detected suspicious movement between the barbed-wire fence and the zero Line on the indian side near the Theh Kalan border outpost about 11 p.m. (BoP).
When confronted, the invaders attempted to run back to pakistan rather than surrender, forcing BSF jawans to shoot fire.
Both invaders were killed on the scene. There were two rucksacks found.
In the region, a search and rescue effort is underway.

Kashmir: Two suspected terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire with a mixed army, police, and paramilitary squad in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama area on Saturday. According to authorities, the gunfight began during a cordon and search operation.

“The encounter resulted in the deaths of two militants, and searches are ongoing,” police said in a statement. It went on to say that the two's identities were first unknown.

Since january of this year, at least 87 terrorists have been slain in Kashmir. Some of the top commanders are among them.
