In the uri area of Jammu & Kashmir, the indian army caught and killed a Pakistani infiltrator. A Pakistani terrorist has been apprehended in uri, according to army officials. As per the authorities, the Pakistani terrorist was apprehended as part of a recent infiltration attempt that took place from september 18-19.

The army was able to contact infiltrators in three separate areas in the previous two days, according to sources. So far, one Pakistani infiltrator has been killed in the confrontation, and the army is searching for the others.

During an exchange of fire between the army and terrorists in the uri area along the Line of Control, four troops were injured by bullets (LoC). After observing suspicious movement along the Line of Control in the uri area on Saturday, the army started a counter-infiltration operation.
"In uri, four troops were injured in a firefight with infiltrators from over the Line of Control," authorities stated. According to them, the infiltrators were confronted by indian army personnel, which resulted in a firefight.

Last week, the army foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in the Baramulla area of Jammu & Kashmir, killing three terrorists and recovering a significant stockpile of weapons and ammunition.
