Door-to-Door Dental Treatment will be provided to tamil Nadu peole and after inaugurating this, health Minister Ma.Subramaniam met the press and said, "A new vehicle for dental services in chennai has been unveiled at the chennai Government Dental College. Two doctors and two nurses will travel in the two-seater car. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, they travel to various locations in chennai to deliver medical treatments in the form of people-seeking dentistry and a people-seeking medical programme.

With the agreement of the school principal and parents, the school is poised to give this dental treatment to pupils as soon as the schools reopen on november 1. Today is the first day of giving this dental treatment. Dental treatments were supplied to several locations in chennai during the DMK administration in chennai Corporation from 2006 to 2011. Dental care was offered free of charge to all school students, as well as the necessary dental equipment.

For the past 15 years, the project has been dormant. On the orders of tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, the project has now been restarted. The project isn't just for chennai residents. There are also school pupils who will profit. Once it is understood how the scheme will be used, efforts will be made to purchase additional vehicles."
