The winning panchayat members are contending for the position of panchayat Vice President now that the 9th district Local government Election is finished. Bargaining, which began as a decorative element to entice winning members as a result of heightened rivalry for vice-presidential elections in panchayats, is now taking centre stage.

Kaliyamoorthy was elected to the Nannavaram panchayat Council in the Kallakurichi District's Thirunavur panchayat Union. Arumugam and Chandrababu are vying for the position of vice president in this panchayat with nine wards. As a result, one of them is rallying support from fellow members in order to be elected vice-president. As the battle has heated up, they've liberalised their spending in the hopes of giving anything away and maintaining their position.

Another participant, upon learning that a member had reached out to a fellow contestant in this fashion, threatened the buyer with an outstretched hand, demanding to know why he had reached out twice. The member then attempts to contact the appropriate person. However, the giver refuses to accept it, and the giver refuses to allow it to be given, so the buyer, unwilling to return it, throws it on the street in front of the giver's house and walks away.
