Three persons, including a youngster, have been arrested in connection with the murder of Special Assistant Inspector Bhuminathan in Pudukottai. They were stripped of the scythe and two-wheeler used in the murder. On the basis of mobile phone conversations recorded at the scene of the murder, police have arrested three people, including two 9-year-old youngsters and a 19-year-old adolescent. Manikandan is the name of the arrested 19-year-old. It's worth noting that four special units were formed to apprehend the killers.

Police are looking into the death of a Nawalpattu Special Assistant Inspector who was killed while hunting goat thieves near Keeranur yesterday. S.
