Salute to the martyrs of the country

In the Mann Ki Baat program, PM Modi while saluting the martyrs of the country said that we get inspiration from the Amrit Mahotsav.

PM Modi said that in the month of december, the country also celebrates Navy Day and Armed Forces Flag Day.

PM Modi said that we all know that on december 16, the country will also celebrate the golden jubilee year of the 1971 war.

Earlier, a tribute was paid to the martyrs by organizing Amrit Mahotsav under the aegis of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Shaheed Chowk Bhelaya Chandrouta.

The chief guest, Bhai Subhash, the provincial head of Goraksha province, said that the purpose of the festival is to collect information about anonymous revolutionaries, fighters and sacrificers and honour them.

To make the new generation aware of their contribution and to inspire their families to imbibe those qualities.

The names of a few revolutionaries or fighters have been known in history, but most are still anonymous.

Such indirect fighters were neither hungry for power nor did they want to make a name.

Most of them sacrificed their life only in the service of Mother India. The people of every section, caste and religion have equal participation in national movements.

The families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country were honoured occasionally, but the current generation isn't aware of it.
