Thavamani (63) is from Madurai's Anna nagar neighborhood. "Corona is not a fatal disease," he said in his appeal to the madurai branch of the High Court. It's a common ailment that can be treated. It is simple to cure. There are no limitations in this regard. As a result, instructions should be made to lift the restrictions and give compensation of Rs. 5 lakhs for revenue lost owing to the curfew," he said.

"The petitioner has unnecessarily filed numerous petitions with the goal of garnering publicity in a waste of court time," stated Judges S. Vaithiyanathan and G. Jayachandran, who heard the petitions. To stop the spread of corona illness, the federal and state governments are taking severe measures. These activities have been denounced by the petitioner.

The petitioner's acts are intended to humiliate corona victims, doctors, paramedics, and other personnel involved in corona prevention. The generosity of those who fought Corona would be nothing if busy people like the petitioner were not penalised for their careless conduct. As a result, the plea is dismissed, and the petitioner is fined Rs 1.50 lakh. He has 15 days to pay the money to the madurai Government Rajaji Hospital Corona Ward. If the petitioner does not pay, the madurai District collector should take proceedings under the Revenue Recovery Act to reclaim the money.
