Bhuma Akhilya priya, a former minister from allagadda and leader of the telugu Desam Party, has become a virtual don in her district despite being out of office. She is the daughter of the late Bhuma Nagi Reddy, a former Nandyal MP. The claim was made on tuesday by none other than her own cousin Bhuma kishore Reddy. According to Kishore, Akhila priya has been threatening contractors and demanding commissions for a variety of projects in the constituency, and her crimes are getting worse in Allagadda.

He claimed that Akhila priya and her men had recently invited a contractor named rahman from the area of Rudaravaram for a settlement and beat him up in order to steal Rs 1.35 crore from him. "The tdp leadership needs to intervene and make sure Akhila priya gets her money back for Rahman. The tdp will be held accountable if anything were to happen to him, he warned. kishore questioned whether Akhila was using such crimes knowing that the tdp leadership was aware of them.

Why don't they interrogate her and control her? He questioned and demanded that the jagan government treat the contractors with justice, asking, "What type of message do they intend to send to the public with such mafia activities?" Akhila priya and her relatives have been engaged in a cold battle for the past few years. The Bhuma family was vertically divided following the 2019 elections because the cousins claimed that Akhila's husband Bhargav ram had been meddling in every matter. Akhila is staying with the tdp while kishore and others switched to the BJP.
