A mumbai police squad investigating the issue paid a visit to Ranveer's home earlier in the day to deliver notices. The police were informed that Ranveer would return to the city on august 16th, but he wasn't at home when they arrived. He was told by the police to show up in front of them on august 22.

A senior official of the mumbai police has announced that ranveer singh will be questioned in relation to the case. Ranveer's statement will be recorded, the police added, and much will depend on it. Whether he will get into problems or be arrested is not yet certain.
