The magnum-opus of SS rajamouli ram Charan and Jr. NTR's rrr got a lot of praise from hollywood and impressed the West. The Gujarati film Chhello Show was selected as India's official entry to the Oscars in 2023, however the film was passed over by the Film Federation of India. rrr, though, still has a chance to win an Academy Award by entering several categories.

RRR fans were incensed when Pan Nalin's Chhello Show was chosen as India's submission for the Oscars in 2023, and they rushed to social media to vent their resentment. Many people noted that rrr could have been picked because it already has a reputation in the West. Dylan Marchetti, the US distributor of rrr, announced to Variety that he will start a comprehensive marketing effort. He will urge the 10,000 Academy members to support rrr in all areas.
