Iran suspends morality police-after Long Protest!!!

There is a Morality police in iran to enforce Islamic laws. Mahsa Amini, who was arrested for not wearing a hijab, was mercilessly brutalized by the Morality Police. Mahsa Amini was beaten up so much that she died in police custody. After the death of Mahsa Amini, the women of iran protested strongly against the Hijab law and the government (Iran women Protest). Morality police adopted a repressive attitude against these demonstrations as well. Despite all the brutality, the women persevered. In the end, the government of iran itself had to bow down. Now the government of iran has suspended the Morality police itself.

Iran's Prosecutor General has informed us that the Morality police is being suspended. Jafar Montazeri said that the mission of the Morality police was to stop the recent riots and now this mission is over. He also said that this whole exercise has nothing to do with the court. However, it is not yet confirmed whether the Morality police will be closed forever or not.

What is Iran's Morality Police?

In iran, Morality police has been formed to follow the rules related to the islam religion such as hijab, burqa etc. The personnel of this police force, who drive in a white and green van, are seen interrupting women anywhere. Sometimes this talk takes a violent form. Often such cases come to the fore when women are brutally beaten publicly because of their hijab. Similar was the case of Mahsa Amini.

Mahsa Amini was taken to the Morality police training centre for not wearing the hijab. It is alleged that Mahsa Amini was beaten up so much that she suffered a heart attack and died. Since the death of Mahsa Amini, vigorous demonstrations have been going on in iran in the last 11 weeks. women have taken command of these demonstrations. Protesting against the Hijab law, women took out their hijabs in public and threw them in the air to send a message that they are not going to tolerate it anymore.
