New speed rules: Speed limit reduced on expressway!!!

In fact, the yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA), which takes care of the maintenance of the expressway, has issued instructions regarding the new speed rules. In such a situation, if someone crosses this speed limit, then he may have to pay a fine of Rs 2000.

Keeping in mind the increasing fog, the yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has reduced the speed limit by taking precautionary measures to prevent road accidents. Currently, the speed limit for light vehicles like cars and two-wheelers on the yamuna Expressway is 100 kilometers per hour, which has now been reduced.

Know how much will be the new speed limit

YEIDA has said in its notification that the speed limit for light vehicles has been reduced from 100 kmph to 80 kmph. At the same time, for heavy vehicles like trucks and buses, it has been reduced to 60 kilometers per hour. The new speed limit will come into effect from december 15, which will be continued till february 15 next year.

Failure to follow the rules will attract a fine of Rs 2000

Giving information about the new rules, yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority's Chief Executive Officer Arun veer singh said that keeping in mind the safety of the people walking on the yamuna Expressway, the speed limit of light and heavy vehicles has been reduced. In such a situation, if someone does not follow the new speed limit, then he will have to pay a fine of Rs 2000.
