Earthquake: 22 tremors in 30 days-Any major danger?

The land of Delhi-NCR was once again shaken by the tremors of the earthquake on tuesday at 2.28 pm. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Nepal, which has been estimated at about 5.8 magnitude on the Richter scale. Frightened by the tremors caused by this earthquake, people were seen running out of their homes and offices.

According to the data given on the website of the National Center for Seismology, this is about the 22nd time during the last 30 days, when the earth has been shaken by earthquake tremors within a radius of 700 kilometers of the country's capital. In these too, 5 earthquakes have occurred during the last 4 days.

Due to this, once again the discussion has started whether the frequent earthquakes are indicating any major danger. Scientists are constantly warning that delhi is a part of a very active region in terms of earthquakes, due to which earthquakes will continue to occur here. Along with this, scientists are also warning that Delhi-NCR is an area with very dense population density. High-rise buildings are also in abundance here. Because of this, the possibility of large-scale destruction due to earthquake is very high here.
