After about a month, the Amberpet flyover will be accessible to traffic. During a review meeting on Wednesday, june 19, at the Dr. BR Ambedkar telangana State Secretariat, telangana Roads and Buildings minister Komatireddy venkat Reddy was notified of this by the state government.

Regarding ongoing construction projects around the state, the minister forewarned officials that if roads sustain damage, accountability will lie with both the contractors and the responsible officers.
He threatened to take action against authorities if their actions hurt people's lives. In addition, he gave authorities orders to expedite the completion of several state highway projects and to start planning the construction of the link roads that would connect the Regional Ring Road (RRR) and the Outer Ring Road (ORR).
He stated that the Hyderabad-Vijayawada route was about to become a greenfield highway and that repair work was being done at several dark spots on it.

He instructed the senior authorities to bring the matter to the attention of the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, expressing his displeasure with the poor pace of construction on the uppal elevated corridor that is impacting the population. He also gave authorities instructions to either find a new contractor for the project or ask for more time to expedite and finish the job.
The authorities told him that the construction on the 4.4 km 6-lane highway extension and the uppal elevated corridor was 82% finished, and they were awaiting approval from the forest department to finish the remaining one km. The minister assured them that he would have a meeting to talk about such matters with the forest officials in a day or two.
