Champions Trophy: ICC approves hybrid model..!?

It has been revealed that the ICC has approved the Champions Trophy series to be held in a hybrid model. Due to this, it has been decided to hold all the matches played by the indian team in Dubai. Similarly, the condition imposed by the pakistan Cricket Association has also been accepted. The ICC Champions Trophy series will be held in february and march next year. pakistan was given the opportunity to host this series in which 8 teams will participate. But even the schedule for the Champions Trophy series has not been released yet. This is due to the opposition of the BCCI.
The central government has not given permission to send indian players to Pakistan. Due to this, the bcci has requested that the Champions Trophy series be held in a hybrid model. This was strongly opposed by the pakistan Cricket Association. Due to this, negotiations were being held between the two sides on the ICC side. At one point, various conditions were put forward by the PCB. If they want to agree to host the Champions Trophy series in a hybrid model, they should organize a tri-series with the indian team, the financial contribution given to pakistan by the ICC should be increased, and it was stated that pakistan will not play in ICC series held in india until 2031.
The bcci did not accept any of these conditions. Meanwhile, Jay Shah took office as the ICC president. In this situation, it has been reported that the ICC has approved the Champions Trophy series to be held in a hybrid model. Due to this, it has been decided to hold all the matches played by the indian team in Dubai. The matches played by the other 7 teams will be held in 3 stadiums in Pakistan. Similarly, it has been informed that no compensation will be given for the matches played by the indian team not being held in Pakistan. Apart from that, the condition has also been accepted that the pakistan team will not come to india for the t20 world cup to be held in india in 2026.

As a result, the India-Pakistan match in the 2026 t20 world cup will be held in Sri Lanka. This t20 world cup will be jointly hosted by both india and Sri Lanka. As a result, it has been assured that the matches played by the pakistan team will be held in Sri Lanka. The ICC has made a different compromise to prevent the compensation caused by hosting the Champions Trophy series in a hybrid model. That is, it has been assured that pakistan will be given the opportunity to host the ICC Women's Series after 2027. It is said that all three parties, bcci, PCB, and ICC, are happy with this development.
