The bad news for indians is that it will soon be harder to seek a work visa in Saudi Arabia. According to reports, the gulf country has made significant adjustments to its rules on foreign worker visas.

Starting on january 14, these new regulations are in force. indian employees who want to visit saudi arabia must now complete pre-verification of their educational and professional credentials before applying. saudi arabia has also updated the guidelines for expatriate residency permit renewals (Iqama).
