Johnson & Johnson fined 8 billion dollars for not informing consumer of some drugs that grows Male breast 

Consumer products giant J&J has been fine 8 billion dollars for not informing the consumer about certain drugs used in products. The drug stimulates the growth of breast in males.

   Philadelphia court has ordered to Johnson & Johnson to pay 8 billion dollars to a man, who previously won 6,80,000 dollars over psychopathic drug Risperdal which could grow breast among men. The jury verdict went in favour of Nicholas Murray, the one who approached the court after thousands of petitions pending in the court.

     The jury observed in the proceedings that the, company has chosen safety over profits, Murray’s lawyers said Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary Jannsen chose billions over children.

    Expert professor Carl Tobias has hailed the verdict and termed it as strong message conveyed. He further warned that the consumer giant could face more damages in Risperdal cases.

   Murray the first petitioner has alleged that he started developing breast after he prescribed the drugs after he was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder. He stared feeling it after doctors prescribed Risperdal in 2003. He was awarded a compensation of 1.75 million dollars but reduced it to 6,85,000 dollars after state upheld the verdict in February 2018.
