Second Major Cyber Attack after AIIMS...
Cyberattacks are rapidly rising throughout the Nation. Cyber hackers in the country are still targeting central government ministries to big government institutions. After the cyber attack on AIIMS, hackers hacked the Jal shakti Ministry and 'Swachh Bharat' twitter handle on Thursday. Hackers sent out numerous tweets one after another.
Cyber attackers flooded the twitter account of Ministry of Power and Swachh Bharat twitter with messages of 'Crypto and Sui wallet join test net got airdrop' in no time. However, the ministry recovered the twitter account within hours of its discovery. Also removed suspicious tweets from the hacked account.Unknown people were tagged by tweeting
On thursday morning, a tweet promoting the crypto wallet Sui wallet was posted for the first time from the account of the Ministry of Jal Shakti. In addition, the profile picture of Sui's account with people was also changed. After the hacking, several unknown accounts were tagged in tweets from the ministry's handle. The same pattern was seen in subsequent tweets as well. This is not the first case of twitter account being hacked. Earlier in february this year, Bharatiya Janata Party's National President J.P. Nadda's twitter account was hacked.
