Telangana's Chief Secretary CS Somesh Kumar stated on saturday upon observing the mobile immunization programme in Sunrise Homes Colony, that over 3 cr Covid-19 vaccinations had been delivered so far. The initiative is part of a 10-day mobile immunisation that commenced on Sat to give the next round of vaccines in the ghmc boundaries.

"Everyone who is eligible should take advantage of the programme." Over three crore Covid-19 vaccinations have been distributed across the state. "The only way to protect individuals against Covid-19 is to get a vaccine," Somesh Kumar stated. These vehicles would travel all around colonies, outfitted with a public address system, informing people about the drive. Though the campaign is intended for persons who have not yet had their second dosage of the vaccination, ghmc officials stated that the first shot will also be given.

Health Secretary Syed ali Murtaza Rizvi as well as ghmc commissioner DS lokesh Kumar escorted him. The immunisation effort is the city's second mobile immunization drive in less than 2 months. A similar campaign was launched in the city in August, and authorities noted that delivering the vaccination in residential areas as part of the initiative enabled many individuals who were unaware of the methods to enrol utilising CoWIN app.
