The delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) issued rules as part of Unlock-8 that allowed the delhi metro to run at full capacity. Even buses operating within the city, such as DTC and cluster buses, have been permitted to operate at full capacity. The wedding ceremony capacity has been expanded from 50 to 100 guests. Between the hours of 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., all marketplaces and malls are allowed to open. Standing travel inside the Metro, according to the delhi Metro rail Corporation (DMRC), is still forbidden. Previously, metro and bus services were just 50 percent full. Funeral/last rites-related events are now allowed with a limit of 100 people instead of the previous limit of 20. Spas in the nation's capital have also been given permission to reopen, albeit with certain limitations. Restaurants are permitted to use up to 50% of their sitting capacity from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the directive.

According to the DDMA, hosting training programmes does not require approval from the delhi government. Religious institutions are permitted to operate, but visitors are not permitted. Stadia/sports complexes will be allowed to open without spectators if SOP is strictly followed. Over the course of 24 hours, delhi recorded zero deaths, 66 new COVID-19 cases, and 52 recoveries.
