Lassi is an indian curd-based drink. It's a must during any time of the day served chilled especially in summers. lassi has many regional names like lassi, chaas, majjiga, lachi, taak, and buttermilk.

Salted lassi has a few variants like mint-flavored, ginger, and cumin. lassi is rich in probiotics, improves bone health, boosts immunity, and is also good for the skin. The calming effect of lassi can prevent sunstrokes as well.

Ingredients:
• Curd: 6 tbsp
• Salt: as needed
ginger pieces: 1/4 tsp finely chopped
• Green chili: 1 finely chopped
• Curry leaves: 1 reed finely chopped
• Ice: as required
cumin powder: 1/4 tsp

Method:
Ginger flavored buttermilk

*In a mixie jar, mix finely chopped ginger and 1 finely chopped green chili.
• Blend in the curry leaves and 3 tablespoons curd.
• Season with a pinch of salt and, if desired, some ice. Pour in a glass of water, strain, and serve.
• Tasty and delectable buttermilk is now ready.

Jeera buttermilk/cumin flavored buttermilk:

• To a mixie jar, add 3 tbsp curd and a pinch of salt, or as desired.
• As needed, add ice.
• Blend it once, then add a glass of water and mix well.
• Add some roasted cumin powder, mix well, and enjoy the refreshing buttermilk.
