Will covid third wave hit us?

The threat of the Covid-19 third wave is always a question going on in many people's minds now. Daily cases of covid have started to decrease and the positive rate of it has also declined. But, WHO has stated that the new variant of Delta has increased in many countries and around 25,000 cases have been discovered with AY.4.2 Variant. This variant is 15% more transmissible than the old delta variant. AY.4.2 variant is present in more than 40 countries till now. In india, around 17 cases of this variant are detected in Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Jammu and Kashmir, and Maharashtra.

                                The WHO chief has said that the daily cases have started to increase after two months and the pandemic is not over yet. This covid virus will not stop and will continue to mutate until it is controlled and stopped by following the protocols. According to the reports, one in 50 people has been detected with the virus from january 2021. The government in many states of india has ordered to follow some strict rules ahead of the festival. Few restrictions will be made during diwali to stop the spread of covid and third wave in India.
