Telangana mahindra university shuts down: Covid cases increases

Around ten people have been tested positive at the University. The mahindra university which is situated in Medchal-Malkaigiri district in telangana has many cases of covid-19. The Deputy Medical officer has informed that the university is shut down due to an increased number of covid-19 cases. It was reported that the total 30 covid cases included 25 students and 5 teaching staff. All the patients are isolated in their homes and hospitals. The treatment is given to all the affected people. It is said that symptoms are not very serious in them.
                              The university campus which is sponsored by mahindra Educational institutions under the subsidiary of Tech mahindra is under lockdown. All the 1700 students and teaching staff have been isolated and few admitted to hospitals. Many are also advised to isolate themselves at home. It is said that all the students and the teaching staff are fully vaccinated. The next activities in the institution will only resume after full sanitization of the hostels and campus. The university is located in Bahadurpally near Hyderabad.
 Already the new variant which is named as omicron originated from south africa had created a panic in the whole world with its higher transmissibility.
