Marcus Lamb, 64, founder and CEO of the Day Star television network, has died.


New York: Marcus Lamb, 64, founder and CEO of the North Texas-based Daystar television Network, has died.


'Marcus Lamb, founder, and president of the Day Star television network, sadly announces his return to god this morning. Their family needs privacy. It needs to be respected. I pray for them '- the channel tweeted.

Last week, Marcus' son Jonathan called on television to pray for his father's recovery. 


Marcus' wife also asked him on tv to pray for his release from covid-19. But the news release announcing covid-19 did not mention him.

In the 1980s, Marcus Lamb and join started a trip to israel for seven months at that time there they heard that “ they have to move to Montgomery, Alabama and start of Christian  Television station.


Marcus Lamb in Montgomery wasn't easy. people weren't open to what he and Joni were doing. 

 They bought the stations in Denver and Macon, Georgia, and Daystar television Network on december 31, 1997.
