Eating together leads to weight gain?

Scientific Fact:  Every day in our day-to-day life we love to sit and eat with friends and family to get relieved from stress. It is often said that eating together increases love, but Canadian scientists have claimed in a study that by doing so, there is a possibility of gaining more weight. This study has been published in the journal 'Consumer Psychology'.

According to scientists, we often share small food items like chips and snacks with family or friends in a restaurant. Doing so can lead to excessive calorie consumption and this habit leads people to ignore the weight gain from food.

Scientists performed three examinations on 719 people for their research. He said, "Sometimes we have food placed on the same plate in front of us and we know very well how many calories we are consuming but during this time we think that since this plate of food is not just ours, the rest of the people in it. That is, while sharing food with others, there is a feeling of gaining less weight in people because they feel that this food is not theirs only.

It was also found in the study that while sharing, we are not able to consider how much ghee-oil is in the food. We see it as 'free' and want to eat more and more. That is, eating together can cause problems in controlling weight. We take in more calories while eating and drinking by sharing it with others. Be cautious of your body weight while sharing food.
