Mumbai police have recovered 10 tonnes of gold from a garbage dump in Dindoshi area. The beggar had thrown away the bag of jewelery thinking it was bad food. In fact, the case came to light when a woman from Aarey Colony was going to mortgage gold jewelery kept at home to repay her daughter's marriage loan. On the way, the woman saw a beggar woman and her child. The woman put some food in her bag, gave the baby a bag and left. When she arrived at the bank, she found that the bag she had given the child contained jewelry. The woman immediately went to the spot but did not find the baby. He then informed the police.



Suraj Raut, head of the police detection team, is investigating the case. When he saw the CCTV footage on the spot, he saw a beggar woman walking away. The police contacted the beggar. He said that due to spoilage of food, he threw it in the garbage along with the bag. police began searching for the bag in the rubbish heap but did not find it. Checking the CCTV footage revealed that the bag belonged to a rat. The rat got into the bag and was eating the food. The police chased him. Then the rat took the bag and went into a nearby ditch. The police entered the drain and took out the bag. Which contained jewelry. He handed the woman over safely.
