Due to the fertile environment, record production is projected this year. The arrival of chillies in the Nandurbar district has risen this year as a result of the favourable weather. 

Farmers began cultivating chilli in May, depending on the availability of water in the district. Green chilli harvesting began last month, and the arrival of red chillies in the market committee has been steadily rising since September.

Farmers plan meticulously from start to finish. Furthermore, farmers have come up with the idea of planning fertilizer and water use by growing chillies every year. Even though rains this year may have caused a drop in production, has arrived.

Traders from gujarat and madhya pradesh are going to the market to purchase chillies. Market dealers claim that when income rises, the rate falls, but this does not appear to be the case with chillies. 

The planting area was also expanded.

Chilli provides a substantial income for farmers every year. Due to the good climate, the area under chilli has also grown this year. It was planted on 6,000 hectares in the district last year, but it was planted in 9,000 hectares this year.
